Features 5/16” diameter wire cable. Lifts loads up to two tons, depending on model, when used with a double-line hookup. Capable of single- or double-line pulls. Safety handle bends when pulling capacity is exceeded. Ribbed frame and yoke assembly for strength, durability. Malleable iron frame, yoke, ductile iron pawls and tackle block. Case hardened steel reel and forged steel frame hook. Made in USA.

I have had mine for about 40 years. I have replaced the cable and the handle. Pulled out 10,000 lb truck that was sunk axle deep in mud, used it to pull trees away from buildings while cutting. Still works like a champ.

Received from Forestry Suppliers within a week from order. Other reviews identified the red paint that rubs off and it does, so wear gloves. This product is heavy duty and rigs very well with included block and my Factor 55 recovery equipment. I use it on a Bronco Wildtrack with LUX package so a bumper winch is problematic. Set up with a F350 and Bronco and it moved the F350. The pull rating on the box list 12,000 lbs. Provides flexibility for a front or rear connection. My wife could work the handle rigged with two pulleys. It is heavy with the synthetic line but I would not feel comfortable under load if it was like the other units that are out there.
