Built with military-grade engineering, the Guardian easily purifies even the dirtiest water! This portable purifier pump uses advanced medical-grade hollow fibers to remove viruses, bacteria, protozoa, and particulate from water. To use, simply uncoil the Guardian’s dual hose, place the prefilter in the water source, attach a threaded container to the threaded bottom of the purifier, and then begin pumping. The pores of the filter’s fibers physically block pathogens to provide the most reliable means of purification. Pressure forces clean water through the walls of the fibers while the microbes and dirt left behind are pumped out through the outlet hose. The Guardian pumps 2.5 liters per minute, and the hollow fiber cartridge treats up to 10,000+ liters. Highly efficient, this self-cleaning purifier pump uses 10% of its water on each stroke to flush contaminants in the filter back into the water source. No backflushing or filter-scrubbing is needed. Designed for use in demanding environments, the Guardian withstands freezing temperatures as well as drops up to 6 ft. on concrete. Meets NSF protocol P248 testing standard used by the U.S. Military for removal of viruses, bacteria, protozoa, and sediment from “worst-case” water conditions.
