The pictures indicate the gray side is on the ground with the black side up. (dalen weed-x premium dual-layer landscape fabric). Is the wicking on the bottom (gray) and the weed control (black)on the top? Please advise. seems backwards. thank you
The Dalen Weed-X Premium Dual-Layer Landscape Fabric (Item #93057) should be installed with the gray side down and the black side up. The gray side is made for soil contact and moisture wicking, while the black side provides UV protection and weed suppression. The product photos can make it look reversed, but gray down and black up is correct for proper performance.
