This washable, brushed pigskin leather glove resists flames, heat, cuts, and punctures even after repeatedly getting wet. The cuff extends beyond the wrist crease for extra flame and heat protection. Sewn with Kevlar for outstanding seam strength. Certified to NFPA 1977 Standard on Protective Work Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Firefighting, 2011 Edition. Made in USA.

How are these gloves sized? I a pair of womanswork gloves given to me about 10 years ago and they were too tight for comfort. I don't remember the size of the gloves. The sizing for the Womanswork NFPA Approved Wildland Firefighter Gloves are as follows. The circumference is around the widest point of the knuckles and the middle finger length is measured from the base of the finger to the tip. Small:circumference 6 – 6 ½ ”; middle finger length: 2 ½-2 7/8” Medium: circumference 7 – 7 ¾ ”; middle finger length: 3 – 3 ½ ” Large: circumference 7 ¾ – 8 ½ ”; middle finger length: 3 ¼ ”- 3 ½ ”
