Onset HOBO U20L Water Level Logger, 100´ Range
This economical, research-grade water level data logger continuously measures the water level and temperature in streams, lakes, wetlands, tidal areas, and groundwater. Featuring a polypropylene housing that withstands use in fresh or salt water, the logger’s non-vented design allows for hassle-free deployment. This standalone logger does not rely on cumbersome vent tubes or desiccant packs for operation, and the durable ceramic pressure sensor withstands freezing. A protective end cap allows for deployment in existing wells or stilling wells. You can select from fixed-rate or multiple logging intervals with up to eight user-defined logging intervals and durations. The logger features an Optical/USB interface, and the HOBO Optic USB Base Station and HOBOware™ Pro software (each sold separately) are required for operation. The Optic USB Base Station allows for communication between the logger and a PC. HOBOware Pro Software provides for easy conversion to accurate water level readings that are fully compensated for barometric pressure, temperature, and water density. An extra water level logger can be used for barometric compensation when needed (one barometric data set can be used with all water level loggers in an area). Provides ±0.1% full-scale accuracy (typical error) with a 100´ measurement range and 0.013´ resolution.
