Excellent hoe, well built and tough, proven on the fire line, moves plenty of dirt and the pick end works well for directing force to cut roots or dig cup trench in hard pack. Only down side, I wish the handle was a couple inches longer it works but would be uncomfortable for some one over 6 foot after a few hours on the line.

This is one righteous tool! Heavy duty and sturdy, but as a 71 yr. old woman, I am able to lift it easily. Today I used it to hack down underneath the ground and eliminate some bamboo shoots that were trying to come back up from buried roots. It whacked the shoots off without any problem, in fact, usually in just one whack, and was able to bring up the roots as well. I've had my Rogue hoe for several years and have no complaints. Real quality!

I bought this and other Rogues to build bike trails. They work great and are the best tools for trail building deep in the woods.
