Eijkelkamp Penetrologger
The versatile penetrologger combines an electronic penetrometer with a built-in datalogger which stores up to 1,500 measurements that reflect soil penetration resistance. In addition, a 50-channel GPS determines the exact measuring point, and coordinates are saved in the internal logger. Lightweight, easy to use, and ergonomically designed, the penetrologger measures to a depth of 80cm. To begin measuring, attach one of the four included cones to the probing rod. Once the cone is pushed into the soil, the depth reference plate reflects the signals of the ultrasonic sensor and provides an accurate depth measurement. The depth reference plate also reflects the signals that are used to control penetration speed. Download the Penetroviewer software to configure the penetrologger and also process and display measurement data on your computer.
