The high-efficiency reduction collar of this net enables quantitative vertical plankton hauls. Dacron® collar is supported open by double stainless steel rings (20 cm and 30 cm diameter) and is sewn to a 30 cm diameter x 90 cm long x 50 µ, 80 µ, or 153 µ Nitex® nylon plankton net. A three-point stainless steel bridle, two-piece PVC collection bucket (lined with 50 µ, 80 µ, or 153 µ Nitex® mesh), 20.0m line, and nylon coated polyester mesh carrying case are included.
