AMS Flighted Auger Kit without Hammer Drill
Kit includes: 2” dia. x 3’ flighted lead auger with hard surfaced tip, two 2” dia. x 3’ flighted extensions, three 4’ extensions, carbide tip, 1-1/2” dia. x 6” core sampler with aluminum liner and slide hammer, SDS drill-to-auger adapter, and cleaning brush. Components fit in a rugged, foam-lined, plastic Pelican® case.
Designed to speed up sampling of soil, soil gas, and shallow water, this flighted auger kit includes everything you need to rapidly drill small diameter access holes nearly 9´ deep (depending on soil conditions). Drill holes vertically or at angles. The first 18˝ of the base section auger flights are tungsten carbide coated for extended wear.
