I work in the onsite wastewater industry, and this probe is my go to. The 3/8" shaft is strong and very resistant to bending under pressure; but the ball swedged on the tip is what really sold me on it. Our company's septic tank pumpers love it too. In fact, they like them so much that I have to be very careful when I'm on job sites with them to make sure that our probes don't "accidentally" get switched.
