Offering a simple method for monitoring infiltration rates, this field instrument can also be used to study liquid waste disposal, leaching, and drainage efficiencies. Consists of a 6˝ inner ring, a 12˝ outer ring, and a cross handle for easy insertion into the soil. Use a stopwatch to measure the duration of dissipation for determining infiltration rates and saturation of soils. Constructed of rolled, 16-gauge mild steel with corrosion-resistant clear powder coating. Manual and correlation chart included.
