Optical, luminescent technology eliminates the probe warm-up period and membrane changes. The self-stirring BOD probe has a quiet lab stirrer to ensure a representative sample and improve DO response times. The ProOBOD® self-stirring optical BOD probe body is tapered to fit standard 300 mL BOD bottles. A sensor guard protects the sensor tip when taking the probe in and out of bottles.
