We use tapes to measure the outside diameter of our product during production Quality Assurance. Originally we were using a metal tape. The metal would get damaged making it harder to use and reducing the accuracy of the tape.
We started using these four months ago and have been very pleased. The fabric doesn\'t stretch or kink. If/when the tape gets damaged, it is very easy and inexpensive to replace the tape only.
