Can I learn more about this product? Is it 100% cotton and unbuffered paper?
Thank you
The Standard Driers (Item #53740) use unbuffered, acid free blotter paper. The sheets are designed specifically for botanical field presses, herbarium preparation, and archival plant drying where neutral pH and chemical stability are important. The paper is not treated with buffering agents, and it does not contain alkaline additives. This makes it suitable for specimens that may react negatively to buffered papers. The driers are made from cellulose fiber, but they are not advertised by the manufacturer as 100 percent cotton. Most botanical blotter papers in this class use a high-grade wood pulp or a cotton blend formulated to keep the paper stable under repeated drying cycles. They hold moisture well, release it evenly through ventilation, and dry quickly when rotated in a press.
