These have been good for light instructional purposes. Some of our professors like them because the student can stick it in a pocket without carrying the bulkier 20' tapes or using a double-sided Logger's tape. They are priced right since students can tend to be rough on equipment.

Gets the job done but The Rewind mechanism is complete junk. I did however get 2 and half months of measuring 20 inch and bigger trees. For the price not a bad item.

rewind mechanism is very poor at best. the actual tape is a little on the thin side but does the job. for the price i guess you get what you pay for. will be replacing with lufkin thinline that i know work as they should.

Actual tape is good enough quality; numbers don't wear off much quicker than Spencer tape... the rewind mechanism, however, is complete junk. Will last only a few days in bad weather.
