The SPOT X provides 2-way satellite messaging to let you stay connected even when you're off the grid or beyond reliable cellular coverage. Exchange messages with any cell phone number or email address from virtually anywhere in the world. In emergency situations, the SPOT X will send an S.O.S. to 24/7 Search & Rescue services, allowing you to exchange messages about the nature of your emergency and receive confirmation when assistance is on the way. You can also connect the SPOT X to the SPOT X app on your smartphone via Bluetooth® wireless technology to access your contacts and have satellite connectivity at your fingertips. The SPOT X features 2.5, 5, 10, 30, or 60 minute tracking intervals. Track your adventure using SPOT's cloud-based mapping, and navigate with confidence using the built-in compass and programmable waypoints. Impact-, water-, and dust-resistant to IP67. Includes micro USB data/power cable, strap, carabiner, and quick start guide. An active service subscription is required for use.
