Easily one of my favorite tools, very useful for small test units in packed or rocky soil

For my purposes, this handpick was great. I was excavating in packed earth, very hard and dry with a heavy clay content, to recover a cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia. I could remove the slightest bit of hard earth, clean profiles, and break up gravel lenses. Terrific!!
