I can’t imagine a better axe for the price. I looked around stores locally and found axes made with cast heads and hollow plastic handles. Forestry suppliers had this Council axe at a great price so I went for it. Two years later and going strong. Nothing fancy here just a dependable functional tool made in America at a fair price. Doesn’t get better than that
