Tecnu Cleanser
This skin cleanser removes the poison oils of poison oak, ivy, and sumac from your skin – preventing an irritating rash in most cases. To use, wash skin thoroughly with full strength cleanser as soon as possible after suspected exposure. Rinse with cold water! If rash has started, cleanser stops itching and promotes natural healing. Available in bottles or convenient individual packets.

I purchased this product for my work crew since they come in contact with poison oak/ivy a lot. Noticed that you can use to get rid of skunk smell. When my dogs both got skunked, it worked fabulous!! Best product ever used!

I use this product every time I work outside ~ as a person who is allergic to poison ivy; oak; and sumac this is a must have tool !!! Buy it and use it daily!!!

If I wash my legs with Tecnu after each outing in the woods, I avoid getting poison ivy altogether or get only a mild case. It's also great for decontaminating my socks that have been exposed to poison ivy.

Working in invasive plant species management we are always either traversing through poison ivy or working in or around it. Tecnu has been a lifesaver for me and all of our crews! I will still get it on occasion if our work area is directly in it or I forget to clean my tools with it, but nothing like the days pre-Tecnu. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is allergic to poison ivy!

I used this on my dog after she got sprayed by a skunk... Worked so well, nobody knew, even when she was wet. First rub (scrub) all over dog, let set, rinse completely off. Wash dog with normal dog shampoo. I haven't found a better product to get skunk out. It was a life saver... her life saver!

This stuff works great. Whether I'm clearing out poison ivy or oak on my property or having to deal with it out camping, I don't have to sweat exposure when I keep this with me. Also excellent to use in the laundry where incidental exposure after the fact can occur.

Is Tecnu safe to use on dogs?
Yes Tecnu cleanser is safe for dogs. It is also very effective for removing the odor if your dog is sprayed by a skunk. I wish I could say I didn't know this from personal experience!
