Sawyer Permethrin Tick Repellent, 12 oz. Pump Spray

An easy, convenient way to treat clothing and equipment for effective protection against mosquitoes, ticks, and other insects. When insects come in contact with fabric treated with permethrin, they are killed or knocked down. Provides up to 100% protection against biting insects when used with a Deet-containing skin repellent. Biodegradable, odorless, nonstaining, nonflammable, and nonirritating to skin. One 6 oz. can of spray treats 1 complete set of clothing (shirt & trousers = 1 set) or 1 mosquito net; one 12 oz. pump spray treats 2 sets of clothing; and one 24 oz. trigger spray treats 4 sets of clothing. Retreat after six washes.

I used it to treat garments worn in mosquito and no-see-um infested low; wet prairie areas where I do ecological restoration volunteer work. By using skin applied botanical insect repellant in addition to this; Ive reduced the bites I receive by >50-fold!

Ihave a tree farm by Hinckley MN, sprayed from the knees down & later decided to walk through taller brush, Got back to my car & I had 52 wood ticks from waist to knees & knees to feet had 0 ticks.

Does clothining need to be saturated with it? Does clothining need to be saturated with it?
Clothing does not need to saturated to the point the spray is dripping off. Whatever is being treated needs to be thoroughly covered similar to how you would apply any type of aerosol repellant. It is important to note you should not apply this to garments while they are being worn. The treated items should be completely dried before you use them.
