Used for extensive field survey in venomous snake habitat in Utah. Beyond feeling secure and protected from snakes, navigating rough, thick, and prickly ecology was definitely made easier and helped to cover more ground area more quickly. Love the hard plastic inserts sewn into the outer canvas (?) material. Adjustable straps were perfect and able to tuck them in without having them slipping out. On average of 10+ miles/day of pedestrian survey. Love 'em.
