Stump Stop Herbicide, 1 Quart
Stump Stop controls almost 100 varieties of woody plant species and also kills poison ivy and poison oak. This ready-to-use formula requires no mixing and can be applied as a cut stump treatment to control re-sprouting or as a basal bark treatment on smaller woody plants. For use in forests, rangeland, permanent pastures, industrial manufacturing sites, rights-of-way, fence rows, non-irrigation ditch banks, and around farm buildings. Can be applied to grazed areas as well as for establishment and maintenance of wildlife openings. Active ingredient: 13.6% triclopyr.

will this work on Tree of Heaven and its root system?
Yes, Stump Stop Herbicide, Item #17111, can be used on Tree of Heaven when applied to a freshly cut stump. The product is designed to prevent resprouting from the stump after the tree has been cut. However, Tree of Heaven is known for producing aggressive root suckers from its root system. Treating the stump with Stump Stop Herbicide, Item #17111, will help prevent the stump from resprouting, but additional treatment of any new shoots or root sprouts may still be necessary.

According to the current Stump Stop label, Russian olive is listed as a susceptible species under woody plants controlled by triclopyr. The label groups it with other invasive or hard-to-kill brush species.
