Garmin inReach Messenger Plus
In addition to global two-way texting, the inReach Messenger Plus lets you exchange photos and voice messages even when outside of cellular coverage range. In case of an emergency, use the interactive SOS alert function to send a text message to Garmin Response. Photo and voice messages can also be exchanged during an SOS, allowing response coordinators to see and hear details of the emergency firsthand. When you’re beyond cellular service or Wi-Fi connection, the inReach Messenger Plus seamlessly switches to the satellite network. Use the Garmin Messenger™ app for group messaging, sharing your GPS location via live tracking, and more. The TracBack® routing feature lets you easily navigate back to where you started. The internal rechargeable lithium battery provides up to 25 days of battery life in 10-minute tracking mode, and you can use the device to charge a depleted phone. Note: Active satellite subscription required. Some jurisdictions regulate or prohibit the use of satellite communication devices. Check your local regulations or restrictions before operating. Photo and voice messaging requires pairing with the Garmin Messenger™ app on your compatible smartphone.
