True North 20” Saw Bar Cover

Bar guard features rugged 1000D Nylon construction with oversize leather guards and a 1-1/4” generous foam shoulder pad for a safe and comfortable carry. Two exterior pockets with Velcro® closure cover flaps keep tools and spare parts handy. Wedge pocket on tip makes it easy to grab.

This is a great product. I outfit and supervise trail crews and this bar cover/scabbard is a game changer that allows folks to easily carry the saw on their shoulder safely. Made is USA, quality construction. A tip is to still use a plastic orange scabbard (the kind that come with saws) inside of this cover to prevent the chain from snagging and tearing this up. There is a plastic liner but a sharp chain beats them up quick.

As a professional trail contractor, I hike with a chainsaw a lot and this scabbard has revolutionized the commute. The padding makes it much easier and more comfortable to carry on the shoulder than other methods. The coverage is far better than the plastic scabbard that come with saws, and it's way lighter-weight than the homemade scabbard I made from wood/foam/duct tape. It's super durable--been using it for several seasons with no visible deterioration. And the pockets are a great addition for scrench, wedges, etc. I couldn't be happier.

I just received my order of a 28" cover. This cover is great for my saw with a 28" bar. Easy on-easy off, and great storage!
