Stokes Telescoping Leg Tripod Ladder, 5´
Designed for safe, stable use in orchards and on uneven terrain, this professional-grade orchard ladder combines lightweight strength with innovative features that make setup faster, safer, and more reliable.
Constructed from lightweight tempered structural aluminum, the ladder features a wide base for exceptional stability, a narrow top for easy access into trees, and a strong 3" wide side rail with a built-in water channel. Wide 3" steps with extruded ridges provide secure, slip-resistant footing, while heavy aluminum beads reinforce the steps and side rails at key stress points for added durability. A heavy-duty cradle keeps the back leg centered during transport for improved balance and easier carrying.
The adjustable telescoping third leg is essential for maintaining a level climbing surface on sloped ground, terraces, or uneven terrain. Depending on ladder size, the leg adjusts up to 1 foot longer or as much as 5½ feet shorter, allowing the ladder to remain stable in challenging conditions.
Additional features include:
- Heavy-duty clamp: Reinforces the telescoping leg joint and provides a low-stress attachment point for the third-leg restraint when used with the optional Hard Surface Kit.
- Strengthening groove: Increases rigidity while allowing smooth, easy height adjustments without "hunting" for adjustment holes.
- Neutral-position decal: Clearly identifies the standard third-leg setting for quick, accurate adjustment on level ground.
- Bale pin with stainless lanyard: Provides a secure positive lock for the telescoping leg while preventing accidental pin loss.
Built for years of dependable service, the ladder also features 5/16" Grade 5 steel bolts, steel bushings at the back leg pivot point, and solid aluminum aircraft rivets throughout. Maximum load capacity: 250 lbs. (ladders up to 12 ft.)
