The jaws hook on the spring arms, not spring holes, eliminating extra strokes and allows easy removal of stiff awkward catches wedged tight in a trap frame. Requires only one hand to operate. Expensive, but worth every cent. This spring compressor works with one hand--It makes removing big animals easy. Rusty springs depress easily. 110s to 330s works on all of them. Keep workings oiled--it'll last forever. I've used mine in rain, it never slipped. I wish I had one years ago!
