Built to perfectly grind both the right and the left teeth of the saw chain thanks to a patented, easy system that grinds both sides by the rotation of the wheel from the outside to the inside, without leaving any imperfection on the outer edges. The vise is automatically locked when the head/motor/wheel group is lowered to grind the chain. Three grinding wheels included (5-5/8” x 1/8”, 5-5/8” x 3/16”, and 5-5/8” x 1/4”).

What is the differance between A Maxx & Max pro grinder ?
The Maxx Pro is built for heavier use and offers a more robust motor, improved clamping and vise components, and a wider range of angle and depth adjustments. That makes it better suited for frequent sharpening, different chain styles, and users who want more precise repeatability. The standard Maxx system is more basic. It sharpens chains effectively, but it has fewer adjustment options and lighter duty components, making it better suited for occasional or homeowner level use rather than sustained or professional sharpening.
