Ideal for hardwoods like beech, oak, and ash, the axe features a medium sharp, rounded edge. The 5.5 lb. axe head is made from forged steel that is hardened to stay sharp but is easy to re-sharpen. The 31" ash wood handle offers a comfortable grip, and the upper end is painted orange for greater visibility. Includes cover made from reinforced textile material.
