Cheap and easy rain fall measuring solution. I have purchased and installed several of these gauges on several projects in the Southwest. The clear tubing holds up well in the strong sun with no discoloration or hazing. Mounts easy on “T” posts with wire or on wooden post or wall with provided screws. Mounting bracket weakens with time (+2 years), nothing more wire can’t fix.

The bottom cap where it meets the tube began to leak within a year. It may have been caused by freezing water or a faulty seal.
