This is an update of my review of 5/26/2022. After a week hanging in fresh air the odd smell has dissipated. It appears well made and roomy enough to go over a broad brimmed hat. Comes with a small sack which should be handy when it needs to ride around in a pack.

This net has a strong odor that is somewhere between citronella and kerosene. The packaging claims "unscented protection". I called the customer support number on the packaging. They said the odor was due to the permethrin treatment. I have used other Insect Shield treated clothing and permethrin sprays and none had this odor.

quality net - holds up well to wear and tear, resistant to tears from brush.
