Indian Fedco 5 Gallon Poly Fire Pump Model FER501
Corrosion- and UV-resistant Poly tank will hold up to the harshest environments! Sturdy, black base has no drill holes (no possible leaks), providing a strong base for heavy use and abuse. The large handle at the top of the tank enables easy handling and provides storage for the FEDCO all-brass pump when not in use. The pump features a rubber overgrip on the elbow end. Other features of the sprayer include a 4” filler opening and padded shoulder straps.

We store these pumps on the truck deck in the elements and they hold up well. The rubber stretch ring for securing them to the mounting bracket (sold separately) does wear out with weather and time. Upgrading to ratchet strap solved that problem. Our company requires these on all mobile units and they are easy to use, transport and install.

Although it is not easy to get replacement parts for the FEDCO poly unit, when it\'s working like it did when I first got it, it works fabulously well. When managing small woodlot operations this backpack has been invaluable in controlling unexpected small fires and it quenches them in a very big hurry. It\'s probably best to replace the parts in the pump annually though.
