Hanna Instruments HI 98193 Professional DO/BOD Waterproof Meter
This professional-grade dissolved oxygen meter offers extended ranges of up to 50 ppm and 600% saturation as well as compensation for salinity, temperature, and pressure to ensure accurate, precise readings. Pressure compensation is done using the meter’s internal barometer, eliminating the need for charts, altitude information, or external barometric pressure information. User-selectable pressure compensation units include mmHg, inHg, atm, psi, kPa, and mbar. Dissolved oxygen measurements are displayed in % saturation or mg/L (ppm), and built-in calculations include Determination of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Oxygen Uptake Rate (OUR), and Specific Oxygen Uptake Rate (SOUR). The polarographic DO probe features a quick-connect DIN connector, and the meter offers automatic polarization of the probe at startup. The meter’s log-on-demand function stores up to 400 samples that can be transferred to a PC using the included USB cable and software. Additional features include AutoHold to hold the first stable reading, GLP data, on-screen help, and a backlit display. Includes DO probe, bi-component zero oxygen solution, electrolyte solution, two pre-formed PTFE membrane caps, DO protective cap, two o-rings, two 100 mL plastic beakers, batteries, PC software, micro USB cable, instruction manual, and carrying case.
