Designed to handle the demands of the classroom environment! A high-strength stainless steel pan and an impact-resistant plastic pan support allow these balances to safely withstand loads up to 10 times the rated capacity. In addition to simple four-button operation, the balances feature a large backlit LCD that offers excellent readability in dim lighting conditions and also lets you easily view results from across a desk or lab bench. Fast stabilization time and high resolution ensure precise, repeatable weighing results. Each balance measures in grams, ounces, and Newtons. Application modes include weighing, density determination, and mole weighing. The balances feature a stability indicator, auto tare, low battery indicator, auto shut-off, a menu/calibration lockout switch, and a security slot to prevent theft. Powered by an AC adapter (included) or 4 AA batteries (not included).
