Gopher Auger Kit, 3-1/4”
Incorporates a square tube design with a link pin. During rotation of the Auger, the Extensions twist against the corners of the square tube and not directly against the pin. Gopher Auger heads have hardened-steel bits for lasting field durability and are treated for easy, long-term maintenance. In addition, Gopher handles come standard with ergonomic rubber hand grips for comfortable use. Each Kit Includes: One Regular Auger for breaking hard soils and sampling of most soil types, one Clay Auger for compact and wet soils, two 4´L Extensions, one Rubber Grip Cross Handle and three link pins.

Hi, does this go 8 ft deep?
The Gopher Auger Kit (item 77807) does not reach 8 feet deep on its own. The standard kit includes auger sections that reach a shallower depth. To reach depths approaching 8 feet, additional extension sections are required. Without those extensions, the kit will not achieve that depth. If your application requires explicitly drilling to 8 feet, this system can only do so with the proper extensions added. It is not an out-of-the-box 8-foot auger.
Are there extensions to order as additional?
Yes, they are 4' in length. Item #77828.
