I purchased this to make securing light cargo in the back of my work truck easier. So far, so good! Used most recently to ensure red bags and line packs (and other gear) was secure in the back of a pickup on a 1600-mile trip out to some fires on the west coast. Worked like a charm, and didn't whine in the wind like ratchet straps sometimes do. Easy to secure, and easy to loosen if you need to grab something. Didn't loosen by itself at all while driving, even at highway speeds. I'd buy it again. Well made.
