Excellent for clearing brush and shrubs to navigate through overgrown areas in the field. Was able to cut through branches and trunks of shrubs and small saplings I would never be able to do with ordinary pruners. Lifetime guarantee made this purchase an easy decision. I highly suggest ordering the leather sheath with it. While putting the pruners in my back pocket; I slid my finger down the side of them and cut myself on the sharp blade. Rookie mistake but now I have the sheath and it makes grabbing them and putting back so much easier.
