Love the ergonomic handle and blade style. I sanded off the light varnish coat on the handle and applied boiled linseed oil. The sheath is fairly thick and compact. Wiped it down with saddle soap. Great value.

Fantastic little hatchet. The grind is not as great as one of the Swedish brand but the head shape, handle quality and steel are excellent. It is sharp and bites hard. Used it on some green aspen and seasoned maple and it handled both with ease while retaining it’s edge. Highly recommend this hatchet.
