Extendible Tile Probe, 4’
Use for marking exact locations of water or sewer mains, drain tiles, pipelines, etc. The probe is manufactured to exact foot lengths so that contractors can accurately survey off the top of the probe to establish exact depths of underground objects. Made of 3/8˝ high yield strength steel, this probe features a stainless steel replaceable tip which inexpensively prolongs the life of your tile probe by allowing you to replace the tip when worn. Pistol grip handle has plastic grips to reduce hand cramping and finger fatigue. Length: 4´.

I've been very happy with this probe. It's very sturdy and the handle being removable helps store it in my work car. I generally use it for poking at tree holes or soft spots to gauge how large they are. I also use it around defective roots to see how extensive decay may be. Excellent multi-use tool!
