Great product except for one thing. When the pump stops working, it is very difficult to rebuild and/or replace O rings and other parts. Needs a pump rebuild kit with good instructions.

Inner seal that holds the lid on broke during first season. $180 tool is now worthless. I have older ones that sprang leaks in the sides during their first season too. Cost to much money to have to replace at least one a year.

This firefighting backpack works fantastic. It's kind of a throwback tool; really well built. They must have just upgraded the bag with new padded straps. It's a lot more comfortable than the old ones and its a battle of us on the truck who gets this one. Good stuff.

for prescribed burning, its one of the most used tools we have. very durable, easy to use. For younger/older people, just go with reduced water volume so the weight isn't an issue. Biggest complaint are the straps that come with it; replace immediately. I use an old backpack frame with hip belt, and always have to fight for it as everyone else wants to use it. If you don't replace the straps, you will curse this thing after 1/2 hour of wearing it.
