Readings above 30 are a relative scale and show increasing levels of moisture, not true % moisture. Automatic switch turns Protimeter on when cap is removed. This 4-in-1 meter is ideal for use when surveying buildings, conducting home inspections, and testing concrete moisture. The meter detects sub-surface moisture in relative terms to a nominal depth of 3/4” (non-invasive search mode); measures actual percent moisture content in wood or the percent Wood Moisture Equivalent (%WME) in a variety of building materials (measure mode/pin mode); measures relative humidity, temperature, and dew point (hygrometer mode); and uses an infrared sensor to provide non-contact surface temperature measurements. Choose the customized tags you need! The two types of bar code tags are compatible with bar code reading systems and are available in a bar code with a break-off control coupon and a large size tag with a bar code. Numbered tags are available in three styles – number and name, number only, or number and name with break-off number coupon. Designed to prevent slits and splits in logs that have not yet been processed, these plastic hooks are strong, flexible, and rupture-resistant. Timber can be machined with the hooks still in place without damaging wood processing tools. The plastic hooks have no effect on metal detectors and are steam- and hot water-resistant even inside ovens and wood dryers.
